Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using CS2Locker ("Website", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms comply with Dutch law and European Union regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

These Terms are an agreement between you and Salt Development, trading as CS2Locker, a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands and registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 99125870.

2. Service Description

CS2Locker provides tools and information for Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) players, including:

• Trade Up contract calculator and reverse trade up tool
• Loadout builder and sharing platform
• Skin database with pricing information
• Market trend analysis and statistics
• Community features for sharing loadouts and strategies
• Live Deals scanner that flags underpriced CS2 skins on third-party marketplaces in real time
• Buying and trading skins, operated by SkinShark, where available in your region (see Section 11)

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use our services. By using CS2Locker, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, you may only use our services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

To buy skins, add Balance or trade skins in, you must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and legally able to enter into a binding contract.

4. User Accounts

4.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to log in using Steam OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account.

4.2 Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Not share your account credentials with others
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4.3 Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend your access if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities. If you wish to stop using our services, simply stop logging in. To have your data deleted, contact us per our Privacy Policy.

5. Email Communications and Consent

5.1 Email Services

By providing your email address to CS2Locker, you agree to receive the following communications:

• Transactional Emails: Account verification, security alerts, and important service notifications
• Price Alerts: Notifications when items on your wishlist reach your target price (instant, daily digest, or weekly digest)
• Marketing Communications: Newsletters, product updates, new features, promotions, and CS2-related content

5.2 Marketing Consent

By enabling price alerts or subscribing to our email services, you provide explicit consent to receive marketing communications from CS2Locker. This includes information about new features, special promotions, partner offers, and content we believe may interest you based on your use of our services.

5.3 Opting Out

You may withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time by:

• Clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any marketing email
• Disabling email notifications in your account settings
• Contacting us at [email protected]

Opting out of marketing emails will not affect transactional emails necessary for service operation.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Engage in automated scraping or data mining
• Manipulate or abuse our services for unfair advantage
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use our services for commercial purposes without permission
• Use a VPN, proxy or other means to access features that are not available in your location
• Use stolen, fraudulently obtained or third-party Steam accounts, items, wallets or payment methods
• Use our services for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or any other financial crime
• Reverse or cancel Steam trades to obtain items or Balance you are not entitled to

7. User-Generated Content

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create (loadouts, trade up calculations, etc.). By sharing content on CS2Locker, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content as part of our services.

7.2 Content Standards

Your content must not:

• Be illegal, offensive, or inappropriate
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Contain personal information of others without consent
• Promote scams, fraud, or harmful activities

7.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right to remove or modify content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Our Property

All content, features, and functionality on CS2Locker (including design, text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by CS2Locker or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8.2 Third-Party Content

Counter-Strike 2, CS2, Steam, and related trademarks are property of Valve Corporation. CS2Locker is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation.

9. Pricing Data and Market Information

All pricing data, market statistics, and trend information provided on CS2Locker is for informational purposes only. We aggregate data from third-party sources including Steam Community Market and other marketplaces.

We explicitly disclaim all liability for:

• Accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of pricing data
• Market manipulation, artificial price inflation, or low-volume trading
• Losses incurred from trading decisions based on our data
• Changes in market conditions after data was last updated

You acknowledge that:

• CS2 item prices are highly volatile and can change rapidly
• Past performance does not guarantee future results
• You should conduct independent research before any transaction
• We are not financial advisors and do not provide investment advice

10. Paid Subscriptions

10.1 Subscription Plans

CS2Locker offers several optional paid products, billed as recurring subscriptions: (i) "Pro" and "Elite" — premium features for the live deals feed (real-time alerts, advanced filters, integrations), billed in USD; (ii) "Cash Trader" — full access to the Inventory Pricer, quote builder, and cash-trade workflow, billed in EUR; (iii) "Tradeup Finder" — full access to all trade-up opportunities without the free-tier ROI cap, billed in EUR. Each product is sold independently. Subscribing to one product does not grant access to the others. Plan details and exact pricing are displayed at the time of purchase.

10.2 Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing cycle. The currency (USD or EUR) depends on the product and is shown at checkout.

10.3 No Refunds

All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. By subscribing, you acknowledge that:

• Premium access is granted immediately upon payment
• You waive your 14-day withdrawal right (EU Distance Selling Directive, Article 16(a)) as the digital service begins immediately with your explicit consent
• No partial or full refunds will be issued for any reason, including unused subscription time
• Chargebacks filed without legitimate cause may result in immediate account suspension

10.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Upon cancellation:

• You retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made after cancellation
• No refund is issued for the remaining time in your current billing period

10.5 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle.

10.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree with the new price, you may cancel before the next billing cycle.

11. Skin Trading, Purchases and Wallet Balance

11.1 Who you contract with

When you buy, sell or trade skins through cs2locker.com, the transaction is between you and SkinShark. SkinShark buys the skins you sell or trade, sells you the skins you buy, holds your wallet balance and processes your payments. CS2Locker (Salt Development) provides the website and the interface for these features and earns a commission on them. CS2Locker does not itself buy, sell or hold your skins or your money.

• SkinShark's terms apply to every trade, purchase and payment, in addition to these Terms. Where they conflict on a transaction, SkinShark's terms prevail for that transaction.
• You can always contact us first about an order. We will work with SkinShark to resolve it (see 11.12).

11.2 Wallet balance

Your wallet balance is credit for use on cs2locker.com, shown in US dollars.

• Balance can be spent on trades and on skins offered on cs2locker.com. Balance cannot be withdrawn, paid out, exchanged for cash or cryptocurrency, or moved to another account, except where the law requires otherwise.
• CS2Locker is not a bank, payment institution or electronic money institution. Balance is not a deposit, is not electronic money and earns no interest.
• Balance is personal and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
• Balance credited by mistake may be corrected.

11.3 Trading your skins

When you trade skins, you sell them to SkinShark and receive their value in your wallet. If you picked skins to receive, that value is then used to buy them for you.

• The value shown for your skins is a quote based on SkinShark's pricing for that trade offer only. Prices change with the market.
• You must own the skins you trade and be free to trade them. By accepting the trade offer you transfer ownership of the skins to SkinShark.
• Accept the trade offer in Steam before it expires. Only accept the trade offer that cs2locker.com shows you, and check its contents before you accept. We are not responsible for skins sent to another account.
• Skins you picked are bought once you accept. Listings come from third-party sellers and can sell in the meantime. If a skin you picked is no longer available, its value stays in your wallet and you can pick another one.
• A trade you have accepted is final. If you reverse or cancel a trade in Steam after its value was credited, that value may be deducted from your wallet, open purchases may be cancelled and your access may be suspended.

11.4 Buying skins

Skins you buy are delivered to your Steam account by trade offer. You are responsible for a correct Steam trade URL and for accepting the offer in time.

• If a delivery fails, for example because the offer is declined, expires or cannot be created, the full purchase amount is returned to your wallet.
• If the seller reverses a delivered trade, the full purchase amount is returned to your wallet.
• If you reverse a trade in which you received a skin, you lose the payment for that skin.
• If a price is shown or charged by obvious mistake, for example a misplaced decimal, the order may be cancelled and the amount returned to your wallet.
• Listings come from third-party sellers and can sell out at any time. We do not guarantee that a particular item, float or pattern stays available until your order is placed.

Skins are digital content delivered right away. By placing an order you expressly ask for delivery to start immediately and you acknowledge that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once delivery has started.

11.5 Payments and fees

Payments for these features are processed by SkinShark and its payment partners.

• Crypto payments cannot be reversed. Send the exact amount on the network shown. A payment sent to the wrong address or network may be lost.
• Card payments, where offered, are handled by a third-party payment partner that may ask you to verify your identity.
• Prices shown include every fee for the transaction, including SkinShark's fee and our commission. The price shown before you confirm is the price you pay.
• Completed trades and purchases are final, except as described in 11.3 and 11.4 or where the law requires otherwise.

11.6 Right to refuse or cancel

We or SkinShark may refuse, delay or cancel any trade, purchase or payment at any stage, including in case of:

• suspected or confirmed fraud;
• errors in pricing, processing or systems;
• failure to complete identity (KYC) or anti-money-laundering (AML) checks;
• a breach of these Terms or of the law;
• technical or operational problems;
• any other reason needed to protect the security, integrity or legal compliance of the service.

If a trade is cancelled after you sent your skins but before their value was credited, your skins are returned where possible, or their value is credited to your wallet. We are not liable for losses, missed opportunities or price changes caused by a refusal or cancellation under this section.

11.7 Security, fraud and verification

To keep the service safe and to meet legal obligations:

• We or SkinShark may ask you to verify your identity, your place of residence or the origin of your items or funds, and may set limits on trades, purchases and deposits. If you do not complete these checks, your access may be suspended.
• We may refuse, delay, cancel or reverse a transaction, and freeze or remove wallet balance, if we reasonably suspect fraud, money laundering, sanctions evasion, the use of stolen accounts, items or payment methods, or another breach of these Terms.
• You may only use Steam accounts, wallets and payment methods that belong to you. Bots, automation and scraping are not allowed.
• Price manipulation, deceptive practices and trading items you do not own are not allowed.
• We may report suspicious activity to the competent authorities without informing you, where the law allows or requires this.

Please contact us before starting a dispute with a payment provider, so we can try to resolve the issue first.

11.8 Steam and Valve

CS2Locker and SkinShark are not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Steam. Skins are licensed to you by Valve under the Steam Subscriber Agreement; you do not acquire ownership rights beyond that licence. Steam may restrict, hold or reverse trades, and we are not responsible for decisions made by Valve.

11.9 Where these features are available

Trading, buying and adding balance are not available in every country. We decide availability based on your location, which we determine from your IP address.

• None of these features are available to anyone located in or resident of a country or territory under comprehensive EU sanctions, or excluded by SkinShark or its payment partners.
• Crypto payments are not available to anyone located in or resident of Russia or Belarus.
• We may add or remove countries at any time, for example when sanctions or our partners' rules change.

By using these features you confirm that you are not located in or resident of a country or region where they are unavailable, that you are not a person or entity subject to sanctions, and that you do not use a VPN, proxy or other means to hide your location.

11.10 Taxes

You are solely responsible for determining and paying any taxes on your trades and purchases, including on skins you sell. We do not give tax advice.

11.11 Our liability for trades and purchases

If something goes wrong with a trade or purchase, our liability is limited to helping you recover the amount you paid or the value confirmed for that transaction. We are not liable for changes in the market value of skins, for Steam or Valve decisions, or for the acts or omissions of SkinShark or its payment partners, except where the law does not allow this limitation.

11.12 Questions and complaints

Contact us at [email protected] with your order or trade details. We aim to answer within 14 days. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights or your right to go to court.

12. Affiliate Relationships

CS2Locker participates in affiliate programs with CS.Money, Buff163, and other marketplaces. We may earn commissions when you use our affiliate links to make purchases. This does not affect the price you pay.

Our affiliate relationships do not influence our pricing data or recommendations. We maintain editorial independence in all content.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CS2Locker is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of €100 and the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CS2Locker and its operators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of our services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Content you submit or share

15. Third-Party Services and Links

Our services may contain links to third-party websites or services (Steam, marketplaces, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of these third parties. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Suspension and Access

We may suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these Terms. You may stop using our services at any time by simply not logging in. Provisions that should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

If we suspend or close your access, you can still spend any available Balance for 30 days, unless we suspended it because of suspected fraud, money laundering, sanctions or a breach of Section 6 or 11. Balance obtained through such conduct may be withheld to the extent permitted by law.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

18.1 Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.

18.2 Disputes

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.

18.3 EU Users

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

Giveaway Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to all giveaways hosted by CS2Locker ("we", "us") on social media platforms.

Eligibility

• Open to anyone aged 18 or older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• Employees, contractors, and affiliates of CS2Locker are not eligible.
• Must have a valid Steam account to receive the prize.
• Your Steam account must not be trade-banned or community-banned.

How to Enter

Entry requirements are specified in each giveaway post. Typical requirements include but are not limited to: following our account, liking/retweeting the post, tagging friends, and/or sharing a screenshot. No purchase is necessary to enter.

Winner Selection

• Winners are selected randomly from all valid entries after the giveaway period ends.
• The winner will be announced on the same platform where the giveaway was hosted.
• The winner will be contacted via direct message. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be selected.

Prize

• The prize is a CS2 skin item as specified in the giveaway post.
• The prize will be delivered via Steam trade offer.
• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other items.
• The approximate value stated is based on market prices at the time of posting and may fluctuate.

General

• CS2Locker reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend any giveaway at any time without prior notice.
• We reserve the right to disqualify entries that we believe to be fraudulent, automated, or in violation of these terms.
• By entering, you agree to these terms and our general Terms of Service.
• This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Valve Corporation, X (Twitter), or any other third party.
